ABOUT US
Mooncap Mushroom is owned and operated, in Northern Michigan, by a Marine Corps combat Veteran who found relief from PTSD through being out in Nature and foraging for mushrooms.
This love expanded, like the mycelium network, into becoming a Certified Mushroom Expert with the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. Cultivating and foraging all different types of mushrooms for gourmet and medicinal use.

Northern Michigan, would you like to go mushroom hunting?
I offer guided mushroom hunting, (private or group sessions,) identification, and cultivation classes.
Depending on interest, I might offer survival classes where you will learn shelter building, trap building, fire starting, and much more.
